Many resorts in Mexico and the Carribbean offer fabulous packages for honeymoons and destination weddings. Choosing your resort early in the planning stage is advisable. Once your resort and destination is selected, booking and wedding arrangements can be made. A lot of couples like booking the standard suites so that they will have extra money left over for excurions, romantic sunset dinners on the beach, and spa treatments! If you wait until the last minute, you are taking a chance that standard suites are sold out! Of course, some resorts do require certain number of nights in selected suite categories in order to receive their complimentary honeymoon or destination wedding packages.
